Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn, an American actor from the United States. Her most famous role is Skyler White in the AMC drama Breaking Bad, for which she received the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 as well as 2014 for Outstanding Supporting actress in an Drama Series. She has also played Jean Ward in The Practice as well as Martha Bullock in Deadwood. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in 1968. The actress fell in love with performing in Preparatory School before moving to Ohio with her family in the mid-70s. Theatre studies took place in the theatre department at Northwestern University. A semester was taken at the British American Drama Academy. Anna began her journey in Chicago performing in stage role for several years. Later, she relocated to Hollywood, where she began her acting career in movies and television shows. Anna's first major part was Arden, in Down the Shore. She was in 29 episodes. In the early 90s Anna was a frequent guest on TV and in films, such as Seinfeld and NYPD Blue. Martha Bullock, a character which she played for two years on Deadwood's season two. Skyler was as Martha Bullock in Breaking Bad (2008). Sully was one of her characters. Gunn appeared on stage to star in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers. In 2022 the actress also appeared in a series of audio play podcast called"Numbered Days. Breaking Bad often revolves around Walter White and Skyler's relationship. Its strain and ultimate demise mirror the last few years of Walter White.
