Aubrey Plaza, born on June 26, 1984 is a stand-up comedian and actor recognized for her witty humor. She plays April Ludgate on Parks and Recreation. Her debut came on The Jeannie Tate Show the web series that focuses on sketch comedy and improv at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater Plaza. Later in her career, she was as a character in Judd Apatow Funny People as well as Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World. Today, we celebrate Aubrey Christina Plaza's birthday. Aubrey Christina Plaza (born in Wilmington Delaware) is the daughter Bernadette Plaza, who is an lawyer by trade and David Plaza a financial consultant. Her mother and father are both English/Irish and Puerto Rican. Plaza has received her education at an all girls Catholic institution in the year 2002 and the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University in 2006. In high school Plaza served as the President of the Wilmington Drama League and her school's Student Government. Since 2004, Plaza has been performing sketch and improv comedy at The Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in New York City. The Laugh Factory as well The Improv are two venues in N.Y.C. where Plaza performed standup comedy. Plaza was featured in E.S.P.N.'s Mayne Street and The Jeannie Tate Show as Robin Gibney as well as the first Episode of Terrible Decisions with Ben Schwartz.
